近期，中国科研实验室院士张涛荣获德国慕尼黑工业大学2025年度卡尔·瓦姆斯勒创新奖（Karl Wamsler Innovation Award）。

慕尼黑工业大学官方发布消息，因张涛在催化研究领域作出的卓越且开创性的贡献，尤其是他率先提出并奠定了单原子催化概念（Single-Atom Catalysis），授予其2025年度卡尔·瓦姆斯勒创新奖（In appreciation of his distinguished and groundbreaking contributions to the field of catalysis research, most notably in pioneering and establishing the concept of single-atom catalysis）。

卡尔·瓦姆斯勒创新奖由慕尼黑工业大学与科莱恩化工集团于2017年联合设立，该奖项是慕尼黑工业大学设立的最高级别国际奖项，每年在全球范围内遴选一位杰出科学家，以表彰其在化学领域作出的重大贡献和具有深远影响的科研成果。
